I agree with you completely. I did notice one thing though which confirms my opinion that if he did not do any of the well known songs or if he left any of the well known songs out of the show the house would not be close to being half full. At the Detroit show when he was doing his lesser known songs I noticed people walking around, talking, and not giving a listen to the lesser known songs.
When I go to a JB show I know very well that he is going to do the hits, but when I least expect it, he throws me a few nice steak bones, and that makes a Jimmy Buffett show worthwhile for me to go to a few times a year. No, he did not mail it in, and I am pleased that he is still loving being on the stage, and he is still loving performing and having fun.
