Need two free or cheap tickets to the Steelers/Skins game...

Post by Alan11 »

Next Saturday the 22nd. Only reason why I ask is nobody cares about pre season and there are a ton of Redskin fans on here with tickets or access to tickets.

I am not being picky but this will be my wife's first game at Fed Ex and I would like to have decent seats for her. I had the chance to get two club seats and parking for $50 on Monday and waited too long, then I had the chance for 2 lodge suite seats and parking for $75 and again missed the boat.

Hope everyone has been doing well, it stinks I haven't been on here as much as I used to but a 7 month long training class and chasing a 17 month old around will take up most of your time.

No joke, even for pre-season those were some awesome deals that us poor folks normally couldn't afford in the regular season.

As bad as the Redskins played Thursday night this game against you guys won't be pretty at all.

Let me check in with the guy who bought my season tickets to see if he is willing to sell them. Not sure if he is going.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Alan-they are probably the same seats as Ravi had before (when we went to Giants game that we lost in the freezing arse cold and I was very mad at Jason Campbell)...I don't remember seat numbers at all but I do remember they are on the visitor side maybe around the 30 yard line?. Not quite nose bleed, but it didn't really matter, b/c you see everyone on the field VERY clearly. I wasn't complaining. At least not about the seats.

Thanks maam, appreciate it as well. Talked it over with the wife and if don't make it to the Skins game it will be ok, we are still going to DC for a weekend getaway anyway. This will be our first trip away from Hannah since she was born for more than 8 hours. Just need to find a good, cheap hotel in NOVA somewhere. Been checking Kayak.com for that all week.

If DC is like most cities, just go the stadium about an hour before game time. They'll be lots of tickets available in the parking lot and you can likely name your price.

Preseason games are forced on season ticket holders and most have no desire to attend. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find good seats right before kickoff for $20 a piece (or less)

Update,

I managed to get two club seats in section 337 this afternoon along with orange parking for the grand total of $72. Too good of a deal to pass up and if it is as hot as they are calling for Saturday then the air conditioned area will be my best friend.

My thanks to everyone, especially Ravi who offered to sell his old tickets to me, that offered to help!
