Bruised calves

I love the man. I love the music. I love the tailgating, beer, girls in coconut bras and cheeseburgers in the parking lot at Alpine Valley.
But most of all I love my bruised calves. It means I had great (pavilion) seats and I danced all night, bouncing my legs against the seats.
Am I the only one who feels this pleasurable pain?

I dance all night during concerts but have no calf pain. The only thing that hurts the next day ( besides my head ) is my vocal cords - I'm usually hoarse from singing too much.

I'm a 57 year old suburban white guy. Nobody wants to see me dance.

I'm a 59 year old rural white guy. NOBODY wants to see me dance but I do anyway.

I was lucky to hit 4 shows this year. And to bruise my calves at each show.

At Bristow on Saturday night (LABOR DAY WEEKEND!) I was the only one in my section jumping around... a lot. LOL

I was at Alpine Valley too.... but that was almost three weeks ago. Am I to assume that the pain has just now finally worked its way through the Frozen Concoction-fueled fog?

Or did you think those colorful marks on the backs of your legs were poorly-done tattoos?

The fog has cleared and I just figured out why my calves were bruised ... They're better now, have been for a week or so. But I could not figure out where the heck the bruises came from. Then it hit me last night--the seats at Alpine. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed ...

That was just on Thursday night, but on Saturday night when our seats were in the middle section and in the middle of the row, I felt like everyone behind us all the way to the lawn could see this lil chexican jumping bean poppin' up and down! I felt rather exposed...
...and that wasn't just cuz of the sketti-straps!

As the man said, "the pleasure was well worth the pain"...amongst other things at Alpine, my calves were kind of sore the next day....what a great show
