Damb! Got to get some new shirts with a 17-17 1/2 inch neck. Pants are
staying the same. I have too much invested in my waistline.

Hey..may be a little late... but you know I only stop by once in a great while.... Congrats man. That is great news that I am happy to hear.
Will you be coming down in the last week of October again? It would be cool to meet up again. I think this year I am putting a sign up next to the welcome sign for all visitors to read.... it will say -- just because you can take your clothes off , does not mean you should. --

So you should know how I have changed, the attire is different but I am still me.
I think.
Be afraid, be skeered.
My friend that took the pic has a very nice camera and wanted to do several shots, I just did a stoopid pose and said that was all I needed. She wanted to do more shots, why? I am the same buffoon in the picture that you all know. I am OK with that, just thought you would get a giggle out of the tie and all.

Uh . . . don't take this the wrong way but . . . do you know much you look like Michael Scott (Steve Carrell's character in
The Office) in that getup?

So I have not been around much lately. Work of course is the culprit. I have
now learned that our regional manager over around 200 stores has "retired"
effective immediately. Our store is a market office store meaning that the
market manager over 13 stores in our market has her office here. A number of
market office positions were eliminated Friday as well. Our store will also
become the regional office as well.

It is possible I will be moving on .....
up the ladder again. If this happens that would of course be another raise. I
do not want to do this if I can help it as I can be moved to other locations.
I am getting into the groove of the different schedule and with the holidays
over I should be back more often now. If I do move up I would be working 3
days on and 3 days off, thats like only working half a year.

That's wonderful! Just make sure it shows up on your paycheck when it's supposed to. I got a $5,000 increase 3 months ago. It wasn't showing up and I was told it was a payroll department glitch and they would pay the retro due. After 2 1/2 months, my boss told me it was denied by the head of HR; policy didn't allow it. My boss and her boss, a senior VP, said they didn't know about the policy and they sure were sorry. Yes, they sure were sorry all right. Did I mention tomorrow is my last day?
