Bummed about not seeing Jimmy in 2009

Unless by some miracle and Jimmy adds an unannounced show (Freddy and the Fishsticks..hint hint), we won't be seeing Jimmy this year. We bypassed Atlanta and Tampa for the chance to see him in Las Vegas but we all know what happened. Then we planned the Orlando cruise and concert trip for November, so now we are just cruisin' (not bummed about that!). We did see Nadirah at Lulu's and Margaritaville NOLA plus we saw Sonny a couple of times. Those were great shows in their own right. But we still want our JB fix. We really need that three hour escape for our sanity. I guess we'll be seeing him in NOLA for Jazz Fest in 2010.

Anybody else have their SO be the one that prevented going to a concert this year?

Dear wife actually hit me with "Do we have to go EVERY year? The concerts are always the same."

sigh.....

So... although it wasn't ENTIRELY her doing that we won't make a show this year, we certainly didn't pull out the stops and make sure we got to Chicago or Uncasville....

Could be worse. My SO went with me to GW. He was trying to be a good sport but I know he didn't enjoy it and it wasn't the same for me. So I'm going to Mohegan with a bunch of girlfriends instead.

Nope. My wife is not a fan so I bought myself a single ticket.

I go to alot of JB shows sans spouse-as I don't want to waste the $$ on someone who doesn't really get it -more $$ to drink with -just remember you are never alone at a JB concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in Vegas by myself a couple of years back & the people next to me asked who I was with & I said I was by myself -they said no you're not, you are with us and they started buying me drinks & we had a great time!!!!

Yes I have. In fact he not only wouldn't let me go to shows he got rid of all my cd's. Needless to say I came to my senses and he's an ex. Although our reason for breaking up wasn't Buffett

We were just able to squeeze in an early November vacation before the stuff hits the fan at work. We'll be patient and make the trek to NOLA for Jazz Fest.
