It got bad reviews in the NY papers. One reviewer said, and I'm paraphrasing, nobody has gone from small star to big star and back to small star faster than Jamie Foxx.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

I hadn't either until I saw a review of it over the weekend. I wish I could get that 5 minutes of my life back. :-?

If the reviewer had 10 thumbs they all would have been pointed down.

I've heard that the movie was pretty good, up until the end...which is supposed to be "terrible". I'll be going to see it anyway too. I rarely go see a movie in the theatre, so if it turns out not to be so great, oh well.... 8)

Typically the trailers are the best part of the movie, at least it seems that way lately. The complaint from the reviewer was just too much gratuitous violence. And that would be a huge turn off for me. I've hit that point in my life where I see enough of that daily in the real world, which is probably why the only movies I've seen lately are "kid" movies. Anyone want to go see "Where The Wild Things Are" with me? [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
