I was getting excited for the upcoming NYC show and figured we could try to get a group of Parrotheads to gather before the show for some ice cold ones and some good burgers and wings

I found a place that said they'd be willing to possibly work out a preshow discount or drink special if we have a big enough group.

The place is called Point Break...its on 45th and 5th and only a few mins from MSG.

They have 2 private floors above the bar that we could have to our own if I get a large enough response.

I don't mind taking the initiative of setting this up since I live in the city...I just want to see if people are interested

the place we went to reeked..

I know there was a bar on 82nd Street and I think 2nd Ave???? where I met up with a lot of people from BN but I can't remember the name of it.

Not sure if it was.

No, Stout's is on 33rd St between 6th & 7th Aves. It's a block away from MSG. Ravi, you might be thinking of Mo's Caribbean. That was on the east side on about 72nd St.

Stout's still sucks..

Mo's was it (even though I was about 10 blocks off).

I remember Mo's had 2 female bartenders. One of them was wearing a skirt that was so short it looked like a wide belt.

This place Point Break is actually really nice...

instead of dealing with a crowd, if enough people are interested, we could have our own private floor to get nice and ready for the show

have a little pre party 2 hours before show time.

The food there is also really good.

I've already started setting up pre-parties there for me and my phishheads when phish comes to town Dec 2-4. GOnna be a good few weeks of music!

BTW.. Stouts still reeks

Sounds good to us!! We didn't care for Stouts the last time we were there for a Pre-Buffett gathering. One bartender was nice....especially when he gave us our bill...YIKES! We had a fantastic time at Mo's a few years back but Mo's is no more.

We have 4 in our group and we are willing to give it a whirl !

We would also be interested in getting together with some folks before the concert. Never been to NYC. Looking forward to it.
