I'm watching "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and they're at several places that focus mostly on turkey. That, and Thanksgiving is coming up.

If you eat turkey, what do you like best???

It's not my "bird of choice" , but I'll be eating both next week. And I've still never tasted deep fried, but everybody loves it that has.

White.. BUT.. my sisters and I sneak the skin on a well cooked bird..

Yes please....fried of course. Really I don't care white or dark.
Last year I had a bunch of family over and I fried three turkeys.
I ate last and barely got any I told a couple of members of my family that they could make a couple of plates to take home and the wiped out all the fried turkey without me knowing and because of that, this year it's just me, Vickie and the kid.

I prefer the white meat but will eat a little bit of the dark with the skin on it...i'm not cooking this year, going to my aunt's house....i will probably buy a turkey breast to cook for myself the week after if they are on sale!

I like both. The dark is what I go for right off the bird but the white is what I want for a late night sammich.

I am the Exact opposite

for the record I prefer fried.. but were I live the critters roam..
I would have to spend the whole time outside watching the
bird cook.. AND whole time that it took for the oil to cool..
so I cook the bird (this year) in the oven..

I also love love love my smoked turkey.. MMMMMMMMMMMM

On a roasted turkey, I prefer dark meat, on a fried turkey white.

So should we consider "White Meat" the same as "Boobies"?

I'd eat a whole damn turkey if I could. Favorite meal of the year!!!

White meat, but the whole family fights over crispy skin on the bird. I love the stuffing most of all
