The Big Easy Oil Free Turkey Fryer aka Infared cooker worked GREAT!
The turkey had a beautiful crispy skin and was even more juicy than deep fried turkey we cooked in the past. Every one in our family was very impressed and they all love deep fried turkey.
prep and clean up are a breeze. I just injected the turkey with a creole marinade and rubbed the out side with a little peanut oil then a bunch on Tony Chachere's seasoning and put it in the cooker for 2.5 hours (16 pound bird)
I did have a digital thermometor in the bird and it got to 165 in about 10 minutes per pound as recommended.
No oil to clean up afterwards and no watching it the whole time was great.
I am sold. I will be trying a pork tenderoin and possibly some beef in it soon
