We buy the stone crab claws with the horseradish mustard suuce for dipping at the Waterfront market across from Pepe's. We take them back to the hotel have them out on the balcony before dinner.

Unfortunately the Waterfront Market closed. Dante's, at 951 Caroline Street, has a great raw bar and pretty good happy hour prices on them. (Plus, they have a big pool where the waiters bring you drinks. It's awesome.) Turtle Kralls and Half Shell usually have good prices as well.

Tommy mentioned something about getting Pam to do oyster shooters. I'm working on a new drink recipe for that. (I know what you're thinking, how can you change that recipe? Trust me i got something fun up my sleeve. I'd like to have as many volunteers to join me at the raw bar at Hog's Breath to try them. There's only one problem...

I got my MOTM work schedule. As predicted, mon-fri days I'm at roof top. The guy I'm going to replace at Bagatelle got his new job and starts next week, so now I will also be working Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun nights as well (and possibly Thursday as well.) So although my wallet will be fat, my play time is severely limited.

Will do my best to stop by and help make sure your employer can afford to pay you.

I can vouch that the weather here is awesome! mid 80's! And this place is as friendly as ever! And love the Bar Card. Thought of Toes when I got a PBR at Bull.

Nope. We're flying back to DC on Sunday and we have a early Monday flight to FLL. 2 different latitudes......2 different bags.... Easiest packing ever!

Daylight Saving time--by law, even though it's "clocks back" at 2:00am, a bar open for business does not have to turn their clocks back until after they have closed for business for the day. In other words, don't count on an extra day.

Talked to friends who went to Dante's the last couple of days. Short story is: best if you don't swim in there until it's been drained and scrubbed. Apparently some people yesterday were confusing "get a room" with "f*** each other in the pool."
