I haven't traveled much lately and am way out of practice with packing.... I might even have to start more than 12 hours before my plane leaves....

After my first couple of years, I decided to just keep a "Key West packing list" on my computer. Each year, I modify it a bit, to cover for the stuff that didn't go right the previous year or the stuff that's changed. I then just print it out and follow it.

I'm getting ready to start in on my Packing Day list of stuff to do. I still have to run a few errands, print up some music-related stuff to take along, get a haircut, and probably squeeze in a half hour of rehearsals somewhere along the way, so I don't s*** on stage.

Oh...and some sadistic soul scheduled me to play at the Phlockers Gone Wild party Sunday night at El Alamo. So long about the time I'm usually hoarse and ready to sleep for two days, I'm gonna have to be on stage and singing somewhere near on-key. :/ If you're still ambulatory after 9 PM on Sunday, stagger over from Schooner Wharf.

Tomorrow: Plane on Sunday.

i guess guys don't have those issues.....i know in my mind what i'm taking....the only thing i don't have to pack is ,sun tan lotion, ran out.....and i'm pretty much done packing...since most of the stuff is things i can't wear now ,that the weather and temps have changed up here.....shampoo / conditioner is packed...small travel size...same with tooth brush and tooth paste..colognes / razor....the only thing not packed is hoodie because i'm wearing it.......

but i do have to pick up sunscreen when i get there... for a pale red head, 3 oz of suncreen just doesn't cut it in that latitude for for a week

the bottles are very durable, tho i have replaced the bag. i've had it for years and refilled everything many times. the fact that there are lots of sizes and shapes of containers and even a spray bottle make it nice. one of the jars would probably work for hair jell
