I'm hoping that Sunday date is a typo and Vudu Krewe is playing Sat evening, but that's what was posted...also, the Calypso Nuts haven't posted dates that far in advance yet, so I don't know when they're playing, but would guess it'll be Saturday afternoon 1-5pm, followed by dinner and time to change into costumes, then Vudu Krewe from 7-9pm.

i would guess there would be some music Sat afternoon.....a Sunday @ 1.....thats sorta late...most people are gone by then!!!

good news and bad news... good news, theres still rooms available at the host hotel! Bad news is that the hotel is releasing the rooms so if you havent reserved your room do it now before they are booked up!

Hello Parrot Head Conventioneers!

We met with the hotel last night in regard to the convention which is just one month away. They are going to have to open the hotel up for outside registrations - so if you haven't done so already you really need to get your hotel registration into them ASAP or there might be no room at the Inn as they say if you wait too long.

Since the hotel package includes the room and the meal packaged together, if you do not stay at the hotel and you do not purchase a separate meal package - you will be restricted from participating in the chowing down of the wonderful food that Babs has planned for us all. She's put together quite a meal package that you really don't want to miss out on.

Hello Parrot Head Conventioneers,

Wow – we are at T-15 for some of you before the big event – this is exciting.

Okay you last minute pholks – here is a couple of important deadlines you need to be aware of.

DEADLINES

1. For those that are NOT staying at the hotel and do not have a meal plan purchased yet – the deadline is 2/19 – sorry but we need to give the hotel the count. Remember the meal plan is $91 per person.

2. For those of you that know someone who has not registered for the convention yet – the deadline is 2/17 and there is no guarantee that there will be any room at the Inn since the hotel had to be opened up to the outside world. Remember number 1 applies here as well.


We will be sending out a notice to all New England clubs offering a single day package which will include Saturday evening hotel room, Saturday Dinner/Sunday morning brunch and a separate one-day pass for friday or saturday without meals. So if you are planning on staying at the hotel for the whole weekend because the hotel is limited in rooms you need to get your reservations in before these one night folks get to the rooms.

Pool Party - Okay you creative and not so creative parrot heads here's a challenge for you - there will be a creative pool party attire award given to one lucky parrot head. So if you are planning on attending the pool party, think about your attire and see what you can come up with. Don't worry you don't have to go into the pool with the costume - but if it's water worthy - that's a plus that the judges might take into consideration for extra bonus points.

We are looking forward to seeing old phriends and make new phriends.

For those of you who can no make the entire weekend we now have Saturday only day passes for $35.

It does cover the entire day of PHUN, Music and PHROLICKING... and of course the Masquarde Party!

If you are interested in staying for just SATURDAY NIGHT at the hotel; we now have package prices for that which includes Saturday night stay and Saturday night dinner and Sunday Brunch. If you have interest in that option, contact us ASAP as rooms are almost filled!

i'm not sure what time i'll be getting there....Tracy(1st convention virgin) is going up with me ,.......i don't think she can be to my house until 6:30......about 45 minutes up....check in at hotel (RRI).....i'm guessing around 8ish..then we have to register....as for thr ball...no costume ..unless you can come up with ideas....no brewery tour here!!.....but getting pumped for it!!
