Chris however, has been texting me daily to tell me how nice it is in Ybor City.

Ybor City was fun....the Columbia Restaurant was awesome, and Marilyn & I really enjoyed the Black Eyed Peas concert as well...if you ever get a chance to see them, they put on a helluva show.

Wow – we are at T-13 for some of you before the big event – the time for partying will be here before you know it.

Scavenger Hunt: Something new to add to the phun of the weekend – Sandy Clendenny and the Ocean State Parrot Head Club graciously offered to do a scavenger hunt over the weekend. No cost or pre-convention sign-up required. You can get more information and pick up the questionnaires at a table by the raffle room so look for the sign. The winner will be announced Sunday morning.

Pool Party – Don’t forget there’s a creative pool party attire competition.

Centerpiece – We still have room for more donations.

New Orleans Krawl/Door Decorating – Still plenty of places not spoken for.

Mask Making – We have some room left.

Float Races – Get your Krewe ready to bid for and decorate your own float.

Not so Newlywed Game – Six lucky couples will be chosen.

Parrot Treasure Swap – One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

Food Donations – One ticket for every pound of food donated to the pantry.

Saturday I'll take you to where they make "numba 9"...it's 10 miles from our house....we'll start there, then go to Switchback and a few other local breweries which are closer to home....my liver is starting to quiver in anticipation!!!
