I'm sitting in the living room watching "Private Sessions" on A&E, they have Foreigner playing....so I came here expecting to put

out for today's countdown. but.......I have to admit, the most famous #4 is also the BEST hockey player ever to lace up skates....and yes, slightly better than Rocket Richard, better than Gretzky, Lemieux, Ovechkin, and all the others that have been considered.....besides, Bobby Orr has more of a New England feel to it.......so, for you Johnny, here's #4.....

Hello Parrot Head Conventioneers,

Wow – this will be my last full blown communication before the convention since we are just days away from the Phun and excitement. Mother Nature is even going to join in on it…lol. The convention will be happening no matter what the weather is outside – inside it will be toasty and warm and like you are on a tropical island.

Wanted to let you all know even though the hotel does not have a restaurant there is a Friendly’s attached to the hotel that does deliver a full menu room service. The hours of operation for the restaurant is 6am-midnight with room service until 10pm. The menu that is in the hotel rooms is not the full menu – if you want a copy of that, you can just stop in at Friendly’s and grab one.

So since we like to be helpful here’s a little check list you can use when preparing:


o Pack clothes – tropical, bathing suit, comfy

o Pack toiletries – although this time no sun tan lotion required.

o Pack for events –

o costume for the ball

o creative bathing suit

o supplies to decorate your float (there are several surprises in store)

o supplies for the New Orleans Krawl Door Decorating Contest

o food for the Open Pantry

o $$$ - to purchase those raffle tickets for all those wonderful prizes, those yummy drink specials

and to bid on those Floats for the races - remember all the money goes to good causes

o But the most important thing to pack – is YOU with your laughter, fun and high spirits.


We are excited about greeting you all to our weekend of PHUN – see you at the end of the week!

This does however, put a damper in the parking lot bar! Sorry gang.. have to deal with just one bar afterall! But I have it on good athority that there will be several bars inside including Teri's (from CT) Hooters (the bar not the.. oh geez... ) and the Champagne Room! I kid you not!

Going to be one to remember (albeit a tad fuzzy!!!)

The after-hour parties are gonna ROCK this year!!!! Only problem is when I went to bed at 4am, I didn't get up for the next days activities til around 2pm

ahaha.. ya, that tends to happen! Just remind me on Thursday that we have to meet the bus at 11 AM on Friday! Did you see they also have an Opa tasting at like 4 or something? Suh-weet!

Remind me when we check in to get a wake up call from the front desk for Friday morning
