Since Jimmy canceled the show in O-town we moved our vacation up to the 16th thru the 23rd. Got some good deals online thru hotwire and brother in laws timeshare.
Staying one night at the Gaylord Palms, 3 at orange Lake , and 2 at Rosen shingle creek. All for under what the Palms or the rosen wouldve normally charged for 2 nights at just one of those places.
So has anyone heard of anything cool we shouldnt miss the week before christmas in Orlando?

Since you're staying at the Gaylord Palms, try the "Ice" exhibit located there.

We are going to Orlando for the Holidays also to visit our 'keets. We purchased tickets for Christmas Eve to see the "Ice" display. This will be our first time to experience "Ice", but our 'keets highly recommended this for something special to do on Christmas Eve.
We used to own a time share at Orange Lake. If you're a golfer, you'll love the courses available there. It's been quite a few years since we last stayed there, but we have to say it is one of the best operated time-share locations we have ever been to.
Of course a trip to City Walk and Margaritaville is standard for any Parrothead.
Happy Holidays and safe travels!

We stayed at the Mona Lisa on our last trip because I won 7 free nights in the lastminutetravel.com promo
Loved the restaurants in Celebration, best fish and chips at the pub there, and the pizza place is awesome too

Have to agree on Columbia at Celebration, very good restaurant. The 1905 Salad is great and the Cuban Sandwich is excellent. Many other yummy items on the menu. Make sure and save room for dessert. Our favorite is the Brazo Gitano "Cien Años" .

Not sure if they do anything special in the town of Christmas, Florida. It's east of Orlando.
