When I had my colonoscopy, the first question I asked was if I could get some of that Demerol for home.

At least I thought it was Demerol that they used to knock me out.

I don't think I'd pick Buffett for this situation. I'd hate for the doctor and his assistants to start drink margaritas.

There are studies that show you still can process things when you are in lala land.

I'm tossed between letting the doc choose what he wants or giving them my ipod.

I would want the doc jamming to what they like... but if my music would relax me on a deeper level...

Holy crap, some of you have woken up during a colonoscopy? That's horrible. I guess the anesthesiologist has to work on getting his doses right.

Personally, I'd let the doctor pick. I'm gonna be out of it so what do I care what is being played. I was thinking about boobies as a choice but, since I 'm going to be out of it, they would just be wasted. Unless they took pictures of them being slapped against my unconscious face. Which would be sort of funny.
