Yesterday on KOMO they were saying it's in Texas for testing in hot weather. My first thought was if they really wanted to test it in hot weather they would test it in Texas in July & August, not November.
Finally!

I wish they would have keep the Boeing style APU tail piece....this just looks too Airbus to me....
I don't know a dadgummed thing about planes, but I like that "blue" one in the middle because it reminds me of dolphin (or maybe a whale?) with the paint and "dorsal" fin

From the "other" first commercial flight this past week in Japan, a pretty cool picture account of the new creation in flight...
Boeing 787 Turns America Into Giant Etch-A-Sketch
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has been in service for no more than a few months and already some Boeing test pilot has tagged the American Northwest like an Etch-a-Sketch with a 787 logo. Damn hooligans.

Japan Air Lines will initiate non-stop service from Tokyo Narita to San Diego later this December, 2012
utilizing new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and will be only 5th U.S. gateway airport to receive the new aircraft.

Are you ready, KK? How to Possibly Grab a Seat on United's First 787 Dreamliner
United’s first plane is expected to be delivered during the first half of 2012, but in the interim it’s time to start topping off your inaugural flight savings account. It sounds like United is already thinking about ways to cash in on its delivery flight, as the airline plans to auction off seats to the highest bidder for those wanting to sniff the new airplane scent in person. The flight won’t be the very first commercial flight, but rather will be the short and sweet delivery flight between Seattle and San Francisco. http://www.jaunted.com/story/2012/2/21/ ... Dreamliner

Is the Dreamliner the plane they use in the GE ad?
