Re: The First Flight of the 787 Dreamliner
Oh hell ya. I was very interested.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Re: The First Flight of the 787 Dreamliner
Thanks for the videos, Mel. I really wanted to watch this today, but after getting my car smog checked I realized that both my brake lights were out. The last thing I needed with all my running around this week was a ticket or accident, so I headed to the Firestone place to see if they could fix it. Right as I got in the car the radio was covering the takeoff. It kinda loses something on radio.
I'm a sap....the videos got me choked up.

Re: The First Flight of the 787 Dreamliner
Okay now I see, it's dubbed the "green" liner.
Originally I was just wondering where the "dream" part came in. Is there a hot tub on board? Scantily clad stewardesses? Wait....that's just "my dream" and maybe I'm thinking of Hooters Airlines

When it first took off did it look to you like it knew it belonged in the sky and was just doing what comes naturally?

And when it landed, it was so darn smooooth . . . (I bet Mike and Randy, knowing that the whole world was watching, made sure they brought her in nice and soft . . . .)
