Not much gonna be going on around here (work) after about 9:45 as most all of the employees will be glued to their computers.

This is what I don't understand. I heard this morning that the 787 will get better gas mileage. It's never flown so how do they know what kind of gas mileage it's gonna get? :lol: :lol: :lol:

They have many ways to determine things like that. Testing on the new Engines, the light weight of the plane, etc.

I read that they did a simulated takeoff and even lifted the plane's nose off the ground a couple of days ago.

Looks to be cool and cloudy in Everett today. Imagine that. :D

Pilot & co-pilot the only two onboard. Could be up to a five-hour test flight.
