Anyway, I didn't notice the oddity right away, but Friday night I was watching a re-run of "BECKER" (The Ted Danson series), and I did notice that Jake (the character who is blind) was wearing a wrist watch.

Ummm Garry? Many blind people wear watches. The crystal is hinged so they can open it up and feel where the hands are and tell the time.

My mom, who lost her eyesight due to complications of diabetes, had a watch that "talked".

Ha ha. Yeah, I certainly had no idea what was so strange about the comic. And I obviously didn't get the ta-tas thing. So I went for the one I didn't get more, which was save second base.

Ha ha, it made the most sense.

Well, don't go around thinking you're the Lone Ranger. First time I heard about the "Save Second Base" thing here, I had to have it explained to me too.
