As I understand, OGG is the airport code. Fares are about $750 from Philly currently. Yikes!

We will likely not make it, but will try and do some research and save a few pennies.

As you get closer, keep an eye out for sale fares to the west coast and for sale fares from the west coast to Maui. Sometimes you can piecemeal together a trip on two tickets rather than one continuous ticket. Leave yourself plenty of time, though, because if you miss your flight to Hawaii you didn't miss your connection, you missed your flight just like if you overslept. And you have to exit the airport and come back in. A hassle, but sometimes the fare is worth it.
