06 was Hoot Island.

I could be wrong on the year, but I know he missed one, because I didn't get to see him that year. I was thinking about flying to Boston to see him with another friend/up this way, but I couldn't afford it and I missed out that year.

2002 was my first Dallas show
2003 was the year of my best personal tailgate
2004 was TX Stadium
(I've got nothing in my show archive for 2005? Did I just not write one down? But I know there was a year he didn't visit!)
2006 was Hoot Island
2007 was FFF I
2008 was FFF II
2009 was FFF III (and I missed it! wah!)

all I know is.. if you had told me when I joined this board that
I was looking at my 5th show in 5 years in Texas.. I might have laughed at you..

while it isn't bad to have a plan, until the date is announced, the hotels there could just be setting things up like they do around the probably-possible dates around Alpine Valley's shows. And the North Dallas Metro area might have one or two rooms near the venue but outside the "jacked up to stupid expensive" rate

The last two or three Frisco shows have been on the same day as the NFL draft, but this year they moved the draft to Wednesday I think, so it could be either weekend.

If it were the 17th I could make it this year!
