The restaurant is in the circle around the Sawgrass Mills Mall. It is across the street from the arenas parking lot. The map also shows the Saturday meeting spot.

There is an outdoor area there that will be great for us. I had lunch there recently to check it out. He is a picture of part of it, with the arena in the background! The second picture is just for fun!




Saturday A.M. The plan is to meet at the movie theater (Regal Sawgrass 23) located on the north side of the Sawgrass Mills Mall around 10. The theater is just down from Bahama Breeze, and is in The Oasis part of the mall. There is plenty of signage for both. The map above shows the theater. The plan is for us to all roll into the lot together. It looks there will be 3 canopies and a good amount of chairs. If you driving from home, it might not be a bad idea to bring your own chair.

Jeff (Maufro) and I are bringing small grills that will be a self service grill. Hamburgers and hot dogs are gonna be available. All you need to bring for yourself is your own chips and such as well as beverages. Condiments, plates and such will be provided. The money will be collected by me either Friday night at Bahama Breeze, or Saturday at the tailgate. If you wish to be part of this and have not already contacted me, please do byWednesday Feb 24. The cost is $6 per person.

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! This will be my perfect birthday present to myself. I'm going sailing in the Bahamas for my birthday and am flying back on that weekend! I'll just come in a day of so early and schedule a really long layover in Ft. Lauderdale!!!

ABSOLUTEly!

Arena sits in the center of a very large parking lot, which typically opens very early. Across the street is the Sawgrass Mills mall which has (free) parking.

Now, the questions are - do I want to use up my last 2 days of vacation (I recharge in March) and will Mrs. WS approve (of course this is a totally ridiculous question especially if she comes with)

Is this a different venue from when he was in Liquordale a few years ago?
I remember hearing that the tailgating was not too good.
This would be the ideal show with an almost mandatory trip to the keys afterwards.
