working man part too many to remember

Post by rich_big »

The payroll company I have been working for on a contract has hired me as a full time employee. This was as of Monday, but my boss has been too busy to tell me till today.

I am very happy about this. I think the company and I are a real good match.

Tomorrow I call in sick!!! (the boss didn’t think it was that funny when I said it, but I think it is)

anyway, I am very happy about it.

Congrats.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought you were going to see Rush somewhere. Nonetheless, this is very cool. Congrats.

When I got hired for my present job, I told them I would probably never call in sick but I would need some days off to go to Buffett concerts. In 5 years, I've only been sick one day but have let them know (as soon as we plan which concerts were going to) the days I would be out! :D
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
