Just wanted to start a thread to keep us up to date on the latest news of the renovation process of our next Margaritaville cafe scheduled to open in late Spring/early Summer of THIS YEAR!!

Still love this for a location. We ate at Wolfgang Pucks several times. It was very nice. It is located literally next door to the casino.

The deck area is going to have an awesome view of the falls. It will be awesome to sit there sipping Margaritas and watching the light show they do each night at the falls. Or the fireworks they put off over the falls. I think they do those on the weekends.

Btw, ironically there is a Holiday Inn extremely close by. Practically across the street. I think it is the Holiday Inn at The Falls. Their outdoor bar, Cocomos had a really good local Buffett impersonator perform there last year.

Anyway, please post any news of the project. With luck we'll be looking forward to a grand opening party in the next 4-5 months if their time table stays on schedule.

Wow! We were just talking last night about visiting Niagra Falls since we have never been -- now it is a no brainer. Does anyone know if this is attached to the Holiday Inn? That is where we are planning on staying so that would be super convenient since our teenager can go back to the room if he wants while Mom and Dad go and have a little fun!

The Margaritaville is replacing Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, and that appears to be connected (or at least very close) to the Holiday Inn.

Margaritaville will be across the street from the Holiday Inn. So it is extremely close but no physically connected.

Margaritaville will be next door to the Fallsview Casino. Only a side street separates them as they are on the same side of the street.

We've been to Niagara Falls several times so Private Message me if you want tips on where to go and what to see. It is a fun place.

I think Jimmy chose a great spot for the cafe. The outdoor deck is going to have a perfect view of the falls.

If anyone hears anything more as to the progress of the renovation, please let me know....

Did you hear that he is attempting to buy the Trump Marina casino in Atlantic NJ? There is a thread dedicated to that topic as well. While it is farther away than Niagara Falls for those living in OH I think it would still only be a days drive. If that deal is completed there will be a Margaritaville cafe there as well as the themed casino.

As soon as I find out when it will be I'm making reservations. We're going to put everyday life on hold for a few days and go up and celebrate!! It has been a long nasty winter and we need a Margaritaville cafe fix!! Not to mention some boat drinks, JB's grandmothers potato salad and the Volcano Nachos. Leaving a note on the fridge door that say's:

GONE TO MARGARITAVILLE!! WILL RETURN??????
