I grew up in the county where this camp is located, but never heard of it until today. Hmmm, I wonder if they'll let me attend a church camp? My record should be expunged by now.

Chip - you can "volunteer" during that week... I can see you running the canteen or even leading arts and crafts....

No tour that week is more standard than not- he usually tours in June and August.
ETA: Is this even our PM? The link doesn't work, there are two of them, and there's no mention of the Book of Faith thing on either site.

I like that idea! I wonder if a Jell-O shot workshop for the kiddies would be considered an "art" or a "craft"?txaggirl91 wrote:Chip - you can "volunteer" during that week... I can see you running the canteen or even leading arts and crafts....![]()
Lenora -- that is "our" PM. From their site:
http://www.camp-arcadia.com/VacationSchedulePage.htmPeter Mayer, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, is the son of Lutheran missionary parents and spent the first 8 years of his life in India. Growing up with church music and Beatles' songs, the music bug took hold. For the past 20 years he has played lead guitar for Jimmy Buffett, and continues his own solo music career in churches, theatres and bars across the country. Peter's latest work is a study on Proverbs, with Ron Glusenkamp, for the “Book of Faith” series, and a new CD that is a collection of Beatles’ songs rearranged for strings and rock band.

Well, good Jello shots are an art form...
And it's a Lutheran church, so it'd probably be ok, too!
