Who's Going to Great Woods 6/19 Saturday

They do this crap every year they scare half the people and the show up at the times they say. Last year in Cincy the tailgating starts at 8 they let us in at 730.

Last year they held to 11:00 but traffic was starting to back up onto the interstate. It'd be stupid and dangerous to let that happen so I suspect the State Police will make them open long before 3:00.

they have been very strict on thier lot opening times the last few years.. but I do think this is in part a scare tactic. All the non-die hards are assuming 3 and thats that.. we, die-hards will be there at 9am ready to party and sucking down our shot of tequila!

I don't think they will do it because the Eagles are also playing in Foxboro on this day too. If they did, There would be one massive traffic jam going to both shows.

I would certainly pay $5 to get in there early. After paying so much money to park at Gillette, I am stunned that GW doesn't charge for parking.

But I'd pay $10-$15 per car more the day of the show to park if it meant getting in early and I am sure almost everyone else would.

That would make too much sense, now wouldn't it. If 200 cars (very conservative amount) came in early, spending $5 per car. That is $1000. I am pretty sure that would help offset the cost of having to bring the employees in early.

That would make too much sense, now wouldn't it. If 200 cars (very conservative amount) came in early, spending $5 per car. That is $1000. I am pretty sure that would help offset the cost of having to bring the employees in early.

It would have to be more like $10-15....they aren't just paying for a bunch of kids to direct traffic, they are also paying for the local police dept to direct traffic into the venue, and have a presence in the lots....that costs a lot more, and probably has a lot to do with when they open the lots.

I would rather have parking included at Greatwoods then have to pay for parking at Gillette.
