Who's going to Camden, Saturday - 08.07.10?

Hey everyone - I didn't mean to start any rumors about the tent/canopy issue. I was just asking if anyone heard anything about it. I was going on info I got from a co-worker. I didn't believe it and that's whay I called the Camden police myself. Regardless of what they say, I agree with everyone else and I don't see them enforcing it.

My canopy tent is already packed in the van with the bar. Sorry for "stirring things up".

Now to get busy stirring up other things like the Rum Runners for Sat. See everyone at the Crowne Plaza.

I think it's a real controversy, but we'll see about enforcement. Seems, there was some trouble involving a girl with a tent at a recent concert.... I also heard tonight no amplified music will be allowed either, so that will be interesting for the Mango Men/DJ Jeff Allen and Jimmy & Jimmy too...

The weather is going to be great, and pop ups or tents or none....we're gonna have a great time. Hey, it's gonna be a beautiful day.

Okay, so I don't want to read back a bunch of pages....What time is the caravan pulling out on Sat.? I thought it was 10:30....is that right? I should get there by 10:00 - 10:15, so I hope 10:30 is the earliest it gets rolling.

Yep, get there by 10:00 ish, we'll be there around 9:30 am, it rolls at 10:30

And he told me that if people come and start to line up at the gate, they will be kicked out of the city. And he told me that if people come and start to line up at the gate, they will be kicked out of the city. CH, there's always an outside chance thee MEAN IT this year but every year they open the lots when the police them too because traffic is becoming dangerous. They can't really kick all those people out of the city. It'll all work out. And remember that the people on the other end of the phone can't do anything but read you the party line...

We are serious too Conch. We will be there in line at 11 am. Tropic Al will be there at 6:00 am and he will tell us if they aren't letting people in. So we will know when we leave.

We have at least a 50 person car caravan leaving at 10:30 am from the Crowne Plaza.

By all means, go at 4:00pm then if you are worried about it....

We are serious too Conch. We will be there in line at 11 am. Tropic Al will be there at 6:00 am and he will tell us if they aren't letting people in. So we will know when we leave.

wow......I wasnt implying you werent serious...just puts a major twist if they enforce it..there are private lots but they are blocks away...obviously i wasnt trying to wait until 4, I was just asking for input from others....If you had asked me I would have given you my # and said you could call me and I would tell you if the lots were opening or if the police were really stopping traffic...thats sall, I wasnt trying to do anything else..

It is time to open the lots. These are not the people you are supposed to stop. These are the people you are supposed to smile at and wave into their parking spaces at 11:00AM. In fact, these are the people you are supposed to let have a little extra space.
