Who's going to Alpine Valley - June 26th 2010

Been a while since I posted, but so excited for another buffett show, but first at Alpine. My flight leaves NY at 9am arrive in Chicago at 10....and then its off to Lake Geneva where I can't wait to meet some of you.

I am staying at Grand Geneva resort, anyone else on here staying there?

Will be at Hemingway's Friday night and pre partying there on Saturday!

Been a crazy few weeks of work and moving.....this is the a perfect time for some fun!

My weekend has begun!! Making the Jello Shots, having a cold Spotted Cow, doing laundry and listening to Bubba.

I hope to meet as many BN'ers as possible tomorrow night at Hemingway's and Saturday.

I'm going by myself tomorrow, and not even sure I'm going on Saturday. However, I have a 12 pack of beer, two bottles of wine, makings for Mary's, and makings for Rita's. I think there's a good possibility I have a drinking problem!

Throw in some cheese curds, triscuits, and almonds, and I won't starve either. And away I go!

name tags? wooohoo fun!!!!!! drunk reading is a favorite past time of mine........now all of you fine parrot laides need to help teach my gfriend why being a Parrothead is so great. This one seems to be the "one" and I am taking her to her first concert..............seeing if she runs away on Sunday

Going to wear your shirt? I almost bought one but chickened out at the last minute! I'll be looking for you on Saturday. I'll have my nametag on and my shirt that says "Birds of a Feather Party Together" with big parrots on the back. Can't wait!

I was just thinking of your comment and laughing as I was cutting open one of my kids juice bags to mix with coconut rum because I wanted a fruity rum drink so much. It's not that bad actually!!!

I am sitting in Lauguardia airport about to board my flight to Margaritaville! (Chicago). While the rest sit in hear in suits, I have my shorts and flip flops on!

Stayed up late last night to make 200 jello shots and premix 4 liters of Bushwhackers. Just have to slice the 12# of tenderloin I grilled up earlier, put some fuel in the blender, make some wardrobe decisions, and I think I'm set!!!!!

There is a bus that goes from the Two Seasons Bowl next door, to the concert, for "$33 including beer and wine coolers until they run out." I don't know whether they still have space, but you could find out.

I need a little help... we have a small group of six pholks going and I am in charge of brewing and bringing the punch drink with alcohol laden fruit in it for snacking...

Anyone have any good punch recipes?
