I hear ya... we could do what people did a couple of years ago in Atlanta, GA and before that in Bristow, VA...
get in line, block traffic and pressure them to open the gates to relieve the traffic flow...or lack of it.
I have never been to the St. Louis venue before so I am not sure how it would work...if at all.
Then again...might not want to make them mad. Maybe they will change their minds.

Since the Maryland Hts Police are willing to look the other way during the tailgating, antagonizing them before is probably not a wise strategy.

i've been reading this forum ever since i bought my ducats for the 4-29-10 st louis show. i reserved a room at the La Quinta Inn down the road. woohoo. my first jimmy concert, yes, i'm a virgin. and i got a room for me and my beautiful GF. Now, i'm excited about going for these reasons. The biggest reason though, i was born 4-29-69, so, yeah, i can so relate to Pirate Looks at Forty. see you all there.

P.S. do i need a hawiian shirt?

And grass skirt and leis, and a cheesburger hat, etc!!!! Just take a look at some of the tailgating pictures on the site and you'll figure it out.

tanks for the advice on jimmy wear. i've been to a few concerts in my day, rush, hagar, def leppard etc in st. louie. i know the weather in these parts changes as often as the weath... o yeah, well you know what i mean. i hoping i can get away with shorts. it has snowed on birthday so i can't commit just yet.
i predict this will be the best birthday present i've ever got. my gf actually asked me if i'd like to see jimmy b on my birthday. hell yeah i said.

Happy Birthday a little early...stop by our tailgate (we'll have a Tiki Bar and a shot stick...I'm sure that helps to limit it ). I'll buy ya' a shot and a margarita. And make sure you head over to Harrah's after the show for PHINS.

I was just looking at the thread for the FFF IV in Dallas.....They are on page 58!!! The STL show is lagging a wee bit at page 15!!!
I have been to this Dallas venue/soccer park for a JB show...ok, it's bigger than Verizon, the cops aren't quite as ---- as the MH cops, and they do throw a pretty good party...
BUT... I think it's time us upper-middle-midwesterners show the Texas folks that we are just as excited, if not more, for our night of Margaritaville - STL Style!!!!
Our show is the 3rd show of the Big Top Tour (22 days!!!!!)...Theirs is the 8th!! We should be way more excited at this point!!!

I live literally maybe 2 miles from the venue, and a pre party seems to work good at our house. I will keep everyone posted, cuz, like I said..... baby may stop that. (only if she goes into labor that day) We will have eats, and ya'll can bring your drinks!!
