I guess I am a virgin Parrot Head, since this will be my first Jimmy Buffett concert and tailgate party. Looking forward to meeting everyone and hope I can keep up. (I'm a fast learner)
My wife couldn't make it due to a prior committment, and already had two tickets bought, so I am bringing a friend from Ft Worth that used to work for me and he is also a JB fan. We'll do our part in helping in what ever way you need us, so we are at your mercy. (just be gentle) We have our wristbands and ID badges already.
I am a professional photographer so I plan on taking lots of photos and will be sure to share the ones I can after the party (after censoring a few out) HAHA

My husband and I were virgins last year (we had different island names) and had a fabulous time. He won't be able to come this year due to training for work, but I am still coming. You are going to have so much phun and meet many new phriends. Welcome to our phuntastic group!

Great News!!!! Vicki has moved back to a regular room, room 610. Her phone number should be 214-694-1610, but her cell phone is still the best place to reach her. I talked with her a few min ago and she seemed to be in a great mood. She had a couple of visitors up there and you could tell that it made her day. She is eating solid foods again and there are continuing to watch her. At this time we do not know how long she will be in this room or how long it will take to get her strong enough for rehab, but she is very determined to start physical therapy again.

Vicki was in great spirits when I went to see her this afternoon. Her niece and two of her close friends were there, and they were having a great time. Vicki was sitting up and eating lasagna and salad, so I gave the Boston Market bag to the nurse to hold in the refrigerator for later.

I told her I hoped she could make it to the concert, but that I had a backup plan if she can't. We set it up so we can do a videoconference on Skype to her computer on the day of the tailgate. We could open the call at 2PM or so and let people come by the station to tell her hi. I also showed her how to watch the actual concert on ustream, just in case.

She still wants to go to the concert, and it seems like there may still be a sliver of hope if she can keep improving. The entire cardiac floor knows all about the concert and our party. Hopefully she can make it, but this will be the next best thing for her if the doctors don't think it's safe.
