Did you just volunteer?
That would depend on how much Lifeguard Lager you will be concocting again and dumping in me (and how strong the handcuffs are).
did someone say handcuffs????
that did s***... my poor tote will never be the same. But we did recover the stolen cooler.. just minus a case of Landshark beer the roadies gave us! (not necessarily a bad thing!)

Time will be determined and yes, they usually open around noon...but don't worry, we will be hashing that stuff out
ad nauseum in the next few months on this thread and the Thursday thread.. stay tuned!

I'd say so. It seems to be a crapshoot though. The year before last we were right on time leaving at that point, but last year we got stuck in line. The goal we always have is getting that coveted "cove" spot in the trees. Timing it to park near there is hit or miss.
IIRC, we left earlier the year before last. Seems like I remember looking at my watch (well, cell phone: the 21st century pocket watch) and thinking we were running behind.
sorry! my fault! (and SP's fault!!) Distracted everyone with the juice.. ahaha...
just thinking here.. maybe leave earlier on Saturday. Sounds like the Thurs caravan did a lot better last year than the sat crew. Not that we did that bad... course, I jumped out early on with the container o' juice and an ez up! I was in the grove a good 20 min before the rest of ya!

Well, I'm out for now on this
Just got an email that all the people who do what I do at my bank have been called to a meeting on Tues regarding compensation. Which we believe means we are going on 100% commission. While I don't believe this will break me I have to be really aware of what my savings account has in it, so I'm not committing to anything until I see what they have to say next week. Since the new bank bought us we've kind of been expecting this but it's still scary.
Why on earth do they give us 4 days to be sick to our stomachs about this???

My opinion we leave a little earlier. I dont want a repeat of the parkinng issues from last year Im noy sure why I paid for premium parking when they parked us in bumble egypt. Plus lugging the gear over and Tams bar weighed like we were carrying two dead bodies. And nobody really likes Jay any ways....ooops did i just type that.

My opinion, phor what's it's worth: I really think we got a later start in 09 than in 08. The REAL question is-what alcoholic concoction will Sanjuro come up with THIS year? In 2008 it was "Chocolate Cake" and in 2009 it was "Jay's Flaming Balls." How's he gonna top that??
My love is staying an anchor tied to you with that silver chain.

Im assuming he'd top his flaming balls with a visit to the doctor and some topical cream.

Why try a different venue? What's wrong with BOTH?
"I need to start growing up," I thought to myself the other day, as I sat in my pillow fort.
Finally got my group coordinated and we are all coming for some, I mean to The Lube! We are at 8, maybe 9, but no Alexis she is pregnant! Two virgins - insert your favorite Lube joke here.
Be good and you will be lonesome
Be lonesome and you will be free
Live a lie and you will live to regret it
That's what living is to me
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
I'm in as well. I just could pass up going to a venue called "The Lube", count me in with 2 lawns. Nor the chance to vomit in front of Skoolgrl<3 car again.
