With the variables, including whether they let us in "early" despite what time they say they open the gates, all we can do is have a plan to get us there together and hope it works out.

A couple of years ago, I talked to someone at the box office about that, and she found a quiet way of noting that they would be "accommodating" of the early arrivals so that it would not interfere with traffic flow. y'know what I mean?

Well, I just talked to the venue. Nothing new except that there's some kind of Fast Lane Access parking for sale. She described it as for the gate that's furthest to the right.

I'll call again closer to the shows (probably several times to see if I get consistent responses). The biggest question is what time they say the gates are scheduled to open for VIP ($30 cash only to parking attendant) and for general parking (paid for when you bought your tix). Right - what time they plan on opening gates and what time they actually open gates may differ, and we'd all prefer they open earlier. However, last year, a couple of venues were real sticklers about not opening earlier than the time they said they would.

Hey, how come there's 30 pages here for Saturday and only 9 pages for Thursday....I'm beginning to think PA Parrot & I are the only BNers going to the Critterpalooza on Thursday....(sniff, sniff)...tell us it ain't so.

Thursday's show and tailgating is sometimes waaaaaaaaaaaaay smoother and fun than Saturday's mayhem.

There will be Critterpaloozers at both shows. Lot of us going to both shows. We're still compiling the list.

We left Lowes at 11 last year.. we were going to leave at 10:45 to be there right at 11 but didnt want to get stuck in the front lawn area on the road... but then got stuck in all that traffic. So this year.. leave at 10:50? lol!!!

awwww mannnnnnn I was OK with the deck not coming but Tonga Tam not coming on Thursday

We arrived (I thought) right around noon last year (on thurs) but they were parking people on the grass right along the road--they said it was so people could get out easier/quicker. That is fine for some but we wanted to be in the lot, as close to Critterpalooza as possible. We circled around and waited in a p lot close to area and got back in line. Got a decent spot on the end by the right entrance just a few rows down from Critterpalooza. It does seem to change each year and with the Cluster F*** I experienced this year getting tickets, Im not holding my breath with expectations for the parking lot!!
