Went to Party City today to get stocked up. The wife saw a tiki bubble machine that she decided we had to have. We also decided that we should have something special for the three virgins we are bringing, so they will have light up tiaras. I am thinking about running a virgin scavenger hunt for them. Tropical Al posted a good list on another thread earlier this year that I will find. Anyone else have virgins coming that they would like to have participate in a scavenger hunt? If so, please PM me and I will get you a start time and location.

I'm recommending wheels in motion at 11:30, leaving Lowe's parking lot and heading to Critterville Grove for 'palooza III.

In 2008 - we ended up rolling out of Lowe's around 12:20 and were in the last row of cars let into the Premier lot; therefore we were parked right next to the grove.

In 2009 - we were on our way at noon, and SP was the last vehicle let into the Premier lot, C-Dawg, Sanjuro et al began hauling stuff down to the grove while the caravan vehicles stayed in line and ended up getting parked in the first section of General Parking, from where our candyarses had to go back and forth hauling stuff.

With that history, it really does seem safe to say CRAPSHOOT! But to have a starting point, caravan 2010 leaves at 11:30....

My friends and I usually buy seats on a party bus, but this year, we put it off too long and our bus is sold out (It's the awesome Boomerang Bus, in case anyone was thinking of getting seats.)

We are seeking seats for six people on a bus. Hopefully the bus would be filled with other fun-loving, experienced Parrotheads, but we can always train them if we must. We're a group of 20s-30s gals and one guy, if that makes a difference. We make tasty Jello shots and we're all about sharing with our new friends/busmates.

Will also accept any recommendations for affordable bus rentals or charters. Or if anyone wants to join us in renting a bus, we can talk about that too.

PLEASE HELP US. We probably *could* drive, but no one wants to.

I can't believe how far away the show seemed when we bought tickets in March. And ... here it is! Less than a week away!

Somewhere in this thread there's a random post or two about a bus leaving from Hoodbridge, er, Woodbridge. With only 41 pages, it's amazing I haven't located it yet, but scroll through to find it and perhaps they still have room on their bus.

A questionable alternative is hitching a ride with the surfpirate (that's "the" surfpirate). Post photos of your crew, drop the guy, and he might do business with you. Granted he's got a pickup truck, but at least he's a safe ride.

I'd almost contemplete dumping our guy, but he's the grillmaster of the group, so ... we definitely need him. Not that we couldn't find a replacement. BUT good to know that could be an option too.
