I'll head that way around 11am or noon. The walk seems to be only around 10 minutes from that lot according to google.Premier Parking Manager wrote: Premier Parking is happy to accommodate anybody wanting to tailgate before an event in downtown Nashville. All the spaces used must be paid for and we ask that you clean up when you leave. We have a 290 space surface parking lot bordered by 2nd Avenue, Molloy St., Korean Veterans Blvd., and 3rd Avenue that would probably be the best option for your particular event. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me.

Parking costs depend on how close to the arena you park, whatever else may be going on downtown (Ryman show, Hard Rock event, etc) and what day (weekend or weekday). For Buffett's Saturday May 1 concert expect to pay $15-25 per space. As far as safe goes downtown Nashville is about like any other medium sized city. There is safety in numbers (park near lotsa other pholks) and don't stray into dark, lonely looking areas. A cheaper parking lot further out of downtown means a longer, lonelier walk. Most pay lots have attendants on duty Fri and Sat nites but it is still not a good idea to leave things visible in your car when you park it.MaxHeadroom56 wrote:Any Nashville folks know what a going rate to park from early afternoon into the night would be? And where would be safe to park? TY in advance. (Oh, and I went to the news page and saw the photo of the Margaritiaville building. Sorry, I thought it was a different one!)
I just called them and booked 4 spaces for my RV. They are even letting us stay overnight.rstack wrote:So happy it looks like tailgating is a go in TN. That's AWESOME news!!! I'll see you there! If you don't mind me asking, what's the going rate per space in that lot?Michel2852 wrote:

If you reserve early, it's $10/space. If you arrive the day of event without reserving, it's special event prices.borovy3488 wrote:That's AWESOME news!!! I'll see you there! If you don't mind me asking, what's the going rate per space in that lot?Michel2852 wrote:

The lot they're talking about is the one bordered by these streets:SAVANNAH BEE wrote:Can anyone tell me which lot they booked for tailgating? And how far is the parking lot from the Sommet Center?
I tried to call Sean Bowman but they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. I want to make sure which is the right
lot to book my parking spot. They have about 6-7 parking lots and since I have never been to Nashville, not quite familiar
with all the streets.....The general phone number is 888-359-0089 or 615-238-2250.....Thanks everyone for your help!!
OMG one week from today we'll be there!!!
