It's Friday! Have to do some cleaning since I forgot I offered my place up as a hostel.
Everybody get your game face on. The marathon begins soon.
If anybody is in town and would like to meet up for a drink sometime this afternoon/evening, please message or call me. Headed to the 9:30 show at the Rutledge, but prior to that I'm playing it fast and loose.

Just saw a weather report and it isn't looking good.

Then again, I'm home with strained vocal cords which also isn't good. Guess I'll have to attempt to be quiet tomorrow.

BAH!
that is all
That was one word too many in my opinion.
Do me a favor...please inform those in and around your fine city that may be able to help, I-24 is not supposed to feel like driving over speed bumps at 65 mph. Blew through there a couple of weeks ago and about lost the front end. I was using your name in vain for about 10 miles.

Goatdammit, why is this goatdam road so goatdam full of potholes. I hate this stretch of goatdam highway. I'm suing this goatdam city and the state of TN for ruining my truck goatdammit.
Okay, rant over. See you in a couple of days I guess

such anger...but i guess its true that you do get ornery in old age
the interstates do s*** bad around these parts i've learned every highway possible around here to keep me off it
now take your med's and chill out, its concert time

I will however agree that there is a section on I-65 S/I-24 E, just before the Trinity Lane exit as you're coming into town that's so bad it makes me violently angry every time I drive over it. I avoid it like manual labor.

Good advice! Nashville is now in Tornado Alley. The Kentucky Derby is also tomorrow. I am watching that weather as well because it will play into how I place my bets in the morning. I love outdoor Buffett shows, but I am glad we are in the Arena this year.

LP Field parking change notice
I just got this email about parking at LP Field:
--------
Mike,
Our office just found out that there is a special event at LP Field tomorrow in Lot R. The BEEP special event parking will run from Lot N.
The lot will open 2 hours prior to the concert and the shuttles will run until midnight.
If you could let folks know that would help us greatly!
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Have fun at the concert tomorrow.
Thanks!
Erin Perry
Executive Assistant

Hope all Nashville Concert Attendees have a fun safe time. Maybe someone will pop in and sing with JB and the Reefers.

Lift off from Central 'Bama @ approximately 11:30 am CST. Arrival time depends on how the troopers respond to my low budget "Smokey and the Bandit" re-enactment. 5 minutes to show day. Bed bound G'nite yall.

I just got back from the late show and it was excellent! I was glad there were no very special guests, because Mayers band was very entertaining and of course when the Coral Reefers joined him they rocked the house. Fun night!

Tiki-sorry I missed you....but I"ll see you at Rippy's today. MGG-sorry I missed you too, but we'll catch up somewhere today.
Now, as to this lovely weather we are having: I have put my strongest spell on the sky out there, I promise. You'll notice that the thunder and lightning have pretty much stopped anyway
Will see you at Rippy's this afternoon...hopefully some nice person/s will help us carry in our GINORMOUS "Virginia is PHor Lovers" gift basket, then hopefully someone will bid on it
Your pal, Auntie

Nashville this morning is looking a lot like Great Woods during the Hurricane Hannah show.
