We had a great time last year at Mohegan Sun, be sure to drop by the tiki bar for some Margaritas, Coronas and snacks, it the least we can do after you took great care of us at the Mohegan Sun Show. The beach opens at sunrise but the lot at Zach's Bay, where the theater is, is already closed for the season because of budget cuts in the state park system and they only open that lot on concert days. Last year it opened at 10:00 the day of Buffett's concert.

There was a concert this past Tuesday night, I didn't go but I drove by in the afternoon to see if the lot was open. At 2:30 it was, but it was practically empty. I chalk that up to 2 factors: 1. The weather was lousy Tuesday, it was about 67 degrees, windy, overcast and scattered showers; and 2. I don't know how much tailgating Creed fans do.

Hey, if we drive up from Buffalo very early Monday and try to hit the bridge around 1-2 pm, do you think we'll be ok as far as avoiding the heavier traffic? Any advice is always appreciated. I've been trying to remember how we pulled it off last year and that sounds about right. Thanx!

I'm down at jones beach every day and I'm happy to report that zachs bay has not closed. It was supposed to close mid august like it did last year, but so far: still open! Let's hope it remains open til Tuesday!

Hey Larry, looks like we cross the George Washington Bridge. (I -95) but then head south on 678 before the Throgs Neck? Or do you recommend that we use Throgs Neck? Sorry, my math is only out-sucked by my geography.

Thanks, I was just going by the info on the website. When I go to the beach I go to Long Beach, it's closer.
