After a brief "WTF was that?!?!?!?!?" moment, I decided this was my favorite commercial from the Super Bowl. Well written, fantastic actor, and very creative. More importantly, it works. Targeted at women, because they're usually the ones buying soap, but written so guys would like it as well. Found a clip on youtube where they talk to the guys that created the ad. Interesting interview.

Love it!! The art of misdirection — a classic magician's ploy!! -"BB"-
I love that commercial! It's goofy, but gets the message across (now why does "goofy" appeal to me???)

It succeeds in advertising's job: you know the product. If you need to buy body wash for a guy, you're gonna look at the shelf and say "oh, yeah...he could smell like That Guy." People are talking about the ad, which boosts the name recognition for the product. They caught lightning in a bottle on this one....the key is, how do they top it? The horse backwards ad didn't work quite as well, but it was really just an add-on. The website content has potential.

Good Stuff!
It's nice to see that there is still creativity and effects and that everything is not CG.

If this campaign doesn't win a CLIO, there is no justice. -"BB"-
