I did watch last night.. yes some of the young ladies are quite
attractive.. but that was secondary to my watching but the nice thing???

MSNBC carried the whole .. uh.. game?? match?? set?? :) :)
and I was able to learn a little more about the sport than
a quick cut in for a sound bite or update..

Kudos to MSNBC

that said.. I think that these atheletes give up
far more of their lives for the games, then we care to think about
and I could be entertained at a live curling event..
too bad if it goes away.. :( :( :(

I was at the curling last night and had a lot of fun. They have 4 matches
going side by side at the same time. The atmosphere there was incredible.
Very loud in the building as well.

I have great respect for all Olympic athletes, but after watching curling quite a bit this past week I think it must be more fun to participate than watch....... :o

For me, it's kind of like watching parking meters expire.......not that I have any experience with that!
On most days I say: "Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been...."
Sometimes I can only say: "There is no dumbass vaccine......"

The dark haired Russian Third was pretty good looking. Moreso than their skip, IMO.

My first real experience watching curling was also during the 2002 Olympics. A bunch of us were hanging out at the German house, drinking great beer and enjoying ourselves when curling came on the big screen tv. I don't know why but everyone became enthralled with it. It became one of the hottest tickets in town. Lots of fun with it then and even more now that I sort of know what's going on in the game.

Ummm, I seem to have missed the calendar, all I see are a bunch of beautiful women!
