Critter? Stripper? Sounds like a reminder that something else has been missing around here for quite a while now. You've had enough of a break now SP. Time to start up the inane foolishness again. Perhaps a weekly update?

??? !!!! ???

You, sir .... have obviously never lost your duck.

How can I possibly be expected to focus and write
a bit of BuffettNews Comic Strip Tomfoolery Fluff
that no one here remembers anyway?!!!

Perhaps I would feel like writing again
if Duckett ... poor lost BuffettNews mascott Duckett,
were to return home again.

......the only thing I need is my duck. I don't need this or this. Just this ashtray... And this paddle game. - My duck, the ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need... And this remote control. - My duck, the ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need... And these matches. - My duck, the ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control, and the paddle ball... And this lamp. - My duck, the ashtray, this paddle game, and the remote control, and the lamp, and that's all I need.

Regarding the absence/disappearance/loss of Duckett:

I would like to point out that none other than our very own Surfpirate himself has indicated that a specific location — 36°10'11" N 75°45'19" W — has significance for our fine feathered friend. Refer to this post —> viewtopic.php?f=56&t=81242&start=284. Hurricane Irene's track carried her over or very close to that point, which is in all honesty not much more than a little-bitty strip of sand along the Outer Banks.

Could it be that Duckett is an as-yet-unreported casualty of the storm, and we should more properly be referring to him as "the late Duckett"?

On a lighter note, Duckett has been doing a fair amount of globetrotting these past three years. He may have just found a better class of peeps to hang with...... [smilie=grinz.gif]

Especially since it looks like the band has broken up.

Sp is like Ted Knight in the TV show Too Close for Comfort. He played a cartoonist named Henry Rush. He had a comic called Cosmic Cow. He had a hand puppet of said cow and could only draw the comic with said cow.

Just saying theres some life imitating art here.

I do not see how comic strip Duckett can possibly survive
when "Travel Duckett", seen here with Tina Gulickson
while wearing his sporty green hawaiian shirt and many
lanyards and badges ..... *sniff* .... is still M.I.A.

I'm not much of a detective, SP, but this sure sounds like there might be "fowl" play involved here. :o

Funny you should say that ......

At one time, I considered writing a series of strips that would have included Glinda (with an "i"),
but I never got that storyline going ... couldn't figure out
who around here would have played all the parts.

I would have needed Glinda, a Wizard, Winged Monkeys,
Wicked Witches, Dorothy,
Toto, etc. etc.

You would have at least had the Munchkins covered, more than enough to choose from here.

Hello, hello.....has anyone seen the one, the only, Duckett????

We want to get him ready for the "Lounging at the Lagoon" tour....

We have custody of the Mini-me Duckett but he needs to be bl*#n every few minutes and after a few drinks it's just darn near impossible to keep him up.

You could have a D.B. Cooper themed strip for Duckett.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
