Tailgate Party Starts at 1:00 PM. Outdoors under the tent Music with Special Guests. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Conch Fritters and Cold Beverages with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Taunton. Sandbar Grill Doors Open at 6:00 PM. Opening Act: The BaHa Brothers. Performances by Coral Reefer Band Members: Peter Mayer, Ilo Ferreira, Nadirah Shakoor, Michael Utley, Doyle Grisham, John Frinzi, John Patti, and more...Ticket Prices $38.00.

I know, we see so little of these guys in New England this is HUGE. I'm hoping we get another Jake show in VT the weekend before like we did last year.

I know, we see so little of these guys in New England this is HUGE. I'm hoping we get another Jake show in VT the weekend before like we did last year.

Don't count on it Pam....according to Jake's website, he isn't touring with Jimmy this summer.....his calendar has dates thru the fall, but none of them are with Jimmy....but we are in for this show.....looks like the Beachcomber will have to wait til next year.

I talked to Carol and we're still going to go to the beach during the day, we'll get there in time fo the show that starts at 6. I imagine the CRB won't be on til later in the evening. When it gets closer we'll figure out where to stop and clean up and change on the way to Taunton.
I'm OK with missing the tailgate part.

Seriously!!!! If the weather is nice then go with Pam and Carol's thought process here . . . go to the beach for the day and hit the show at night. As much as I love drinking all day at Great Woods before a Buffett show I can't possibly understand drinking in Taunton in some weird warehouse filled block when you can go live the Buffett lifestyle for a few hours, come back and shower - take a nap, and still get to see the CRB all night. If you have a ticket then they will let you in. According to the guy a talked to, they don't anticipate any CRB activity until atleast 4 - 5 in the afternoon anyways and no music until night time. Don't waste the day. Too many beach bars (that are actually on the beach and/or have a view of the ocean (the REAL ocean) less then 45 minutes away (if the Beachcomber is too far then check out Marshfield or Plymouth . . . ) . . . just throwing it out there (it was the easiest thing to do . . .)

I thought that when everyone went to see Ilo they had a table, doesn't matter to me, that's a roll with it weekend anyway. But I've been looking forward to the "Comah" since we left last year!
Though maybe it would be a good place for a phlocking later in the summer as well.

According to what was advertised at the NEPHC, the show was outside under a tent, and during the afternoon, starting at 1pm....if it's not til 6 pm, then that would change things...
