Thanks for the well wishes, Kruzin - we had the most perfect vacation ever for our family! I posted something on the Changes in Lattitudes thread about looking for a laid back beach town on the Gulf Coast in FL and received several great ideas. Anna Maria Island won out and, wow, were those people right! I swear you could feel your blood pressure dropping. Leave it to Parrotheads to be such a great help. It never fails to amaze me.
We spent the first 2 1/2 days in Orlando so we could do the Disney thing with our daughter. We wanted to pick up some snacks & beer for the suite while we were there so they directed us to the Walmart Supercenter on Turkey Lake Rd. They had a great display of the Landshark stuff and my son was able to pick up flip flops, some extra swim trunks & a shirt. We went to Margaritaville the next evening and the identical flip flops that my son payed $5.00 for were $20! My husband wanted to buy me some darling flip flops that had margaritas on the straps and the parrot on the bottom, but the knot on top of the thing that goes between your toes hurt, so no-go. :(
There were very few stores in the AMI area that didn't go with the whole parrothead feel. My favorite was Beach Bums where I bought a sea star necklace, a sticker that says "I Beach" and a parrot that sits on the handlebars of my lime green beach cruiser bike that squeaks when you squeeze it! We also bought a keyring holder with parrots on it and a few other beach-type souvineers. I managed to keep myself from buying a lifering for the dock at our cabin that said "Margaritaville Landshark" because the suitcase was overflowing already! The shop that carried the lifering had life size male & female carved pirates at the entrance. The female was every man's dream and our 3 boys had a great time posing with her and taking pictures!!!
Does everyone remember back to the toilet flusher that had a palm tree on it? I saw a sink drain basket with a seashell on it for $25. I believe I was also in a Kitchen Container store, Kruzin and saw the palm tree glassware. It caught my eye too. So, that's my Florida report. Glad to be back to buffettnews but wish I were living in Anna Maria! 47 more days till Alpine!
Fins Up! ~^~

Cute shirt! I also found the shower curtain on Amazon for $40. I will see if they have it in the store just to check to see how the colors are and then order it from Amazon.

Just got back from the 3rd local Walmart.....this one actually had the Landshark stuff in the Tropical area!!!
They had Tshirts, hats and FLIP FLOPS!!!
However, they were either 9-10 or 11-12, nothing smaller.

But no cowboys hats....

I find it odd that ever Walmart seems to have different merchandise and layouts

Glad you found everything even if it took going to three different stores to find it.

Our store had only the larger sizes of flip flops also. Must be sizes that sell best. They were to big for us also.

Don't know why every store is so different. I thought ours was that way if only because they were in the process of remodeling. I'm finding out that is wrong.

We went last night too. Amazing what you can still get for a buck!
If you have a small, small dog, they have a grass skirt with a lei, or a Hawaiian shirt for a buck!
Our Bella didn't seem as thrilled as I was. LOL

Was looking in Lane Bryant yesterday. They had some nice tropical print summer pj's in the $20 range.

Also saw a nice t-shirt with Paradise written on it and a beach scene. The way it was cut I thought it would also make a nice bathing suit cover up. Price: $22.50

Glad you were able to get them. I went to my Pier 1 and they were all out. The sales woman said they only got about 4 sets in and when she looked in the computer it showed that none were scheduled to come in for the next couple of deliveries....bummer. She then looked at other stores and they were only showing 1 or 2 in each store.

Free Jose Cuervo but not if you live in TX or TN
Thanks! Will try again tomorrow as they said they are out of gifts for today!
I tried this this morning and the choices were a music download or a $5 coupon off tequila. I didn't submit anything. Maybe I'll try over the weekend.
