Although "proceeds" may help the Gulf Coast, It looks like it has nothing to do with the spill.

That was my take on it, too.

Well when we see any product where proceeds benefit victims of the oil spill we'll definitely post them here as well.

Has anoyone had a sighting of the tropical flavored Jell-o? Still no sign of it in NY or PA area.
Strawberry Daquiri
Pina Colada
Margarita
I know they can be purchased in bulk online but it is nice to be able to get them at the local grocery.

I was able to buy the Pina Colada and Margarita one at 50 cents a pop. No Daiquiri though.
But that is at the commissary on post here in GA.
Anyone need any?

The margarita flavor is the exact same as the lime flavor.
Just buy it.
I also think the strawberry daquari is regular strawberry.
Not sure about the pina colada flavor

Has anyone else tried the pina colada tic tacs yet? If so, what do you think of them? We really liked them.

I mixed "Tropical Fusion" and "Island Pineapple" Jellos with rum for Jello shots at Alpine last weekend and they were wonderful. Got tons of compliments.

near the drink mixes......Sure it makes a lot of sense. About as much sense as WalMart always moving the location of the Landshark shirts/shorts etc not to mention all the tailgaiting stuff!! Geeze, we never found them in the same store in the same place!!

Over the weekend we found that Sams Club in PA has Margaritaville Spinach Jalapeno and Garlic dip. Price is approximately $6.50
Of course we bought it and taste tested it. It is very good quality. We did find it spicey. So if that is what you like you will LOVE it!!

Just a reminder for anyone who is interested in participating in the BN tropical Christmas card exchange (if you don't know what I'm talking about, send me a PM). Remember while your out and about this summer in vacation spots to be looking for tropical Christmas cards. This is the time to buy them. Then you have them when you need them and avoid the cost of shipping from a catalog order.

Just read online that the post office is expecting to raise rates in Jan 2011. If there is anything you are looking to buy from a catalog you have a few more months to do so before shipping goes up. So start making your lists from the Coconut Telegraph and the online stores at the cafes now!!
FINS UP ^^

I'm planning a tropical themed birthday party for next month.
Does anyone know where I can find tropical themed candy bar wrappers that can be personalized? If so let me know. I'd like to use them as favors.
I found holiday themed ones at Colorful Images. But they don't have any tropical ones.

I did a search on ebay for tropical candy wrappers and I found several. I had ordered some a few years ago and they turned out great.
