My Very Own Rum Drink Recipe

Post by MrTwain »

I created a drink last summer and since then many of my friends have shared the recipe with others. It really is a hit. Something like a smooth Pina Colada on the rocks, only lighter. I can't tell you how many compliments I've received on this drink. I'm just passing it on here in hopes that some of you will help usher in an early Spring by serving it up to each other and to friends.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

Read what it says about 'favorite boat drinks' beneath my avatar. Gotta try one or two (or ten) of these.
I suppose in a pinch you could use straight pineapple juice, since you already have the coconut flavor in the rum.
About the only thing I would add is "garnish with pineapple spear".

Hm. According to Dole's website, they don't sell that juice within 100 miles of me. :(
