What was your most favorite Buffett show ever?
Hands down...my favorite Buffett show was
Jimmy with Jerry Jeff at his Birthday Bash in 2002.

For me, Anguilla. The entire experience was amazing.
Aspen a close second, because of the whole trip, fighting our way past a blizzard.
And Detroit, where I saw Jimmy, Mac, and Fingers play APLAF together. A bucket list sort of event.
And the fifth row, in Dallas.
But all of those trips are special not only for the show but because of the people I was with. Good memories forever.

That's an easy question. Alpine Valley 2009.
(of course, that's the only Buffett concert I've ever been to.....so far)

2 come to mind
Waiting all day in the hot sun to be in the front row on St Barts, and getting SOAKED with rain 15 minutes before the show started.
The "Hurricane Hannah" show when the sky opened up during "Stars on the Water" just as Jimmy sang "let it rain". The roar from the crowd out on the lawn was almost louder than the band!

Without a doubt, the show for Landshark getaway winners last year at the Beachcomber. My wife and I were right in front of Jimmy with nothing between us but a row of peace lillys as a 'barrier'. Having met Jake earlier in the day and seen Jimmy on the Wakiki beach that morning just added to it. On some of the pics she took of me swimming, if you zoon in, you can see Jimmy way out on his board. Even managed to come away with Jimmy's set list. May have to frame it next to the picture of it with his flip flops sitting on it!!
Second would have to be Atlanta/Lakewood in the summer of 2000. Fingers had just left and Clint Black showed up to play harmonica. He and Jimmy closed with "Pirate looks at 40", the crowd and tailgating were great, and the full moon was the size of a beachball in the sky.

I've only been to 3 shows, and they all have their perks, but 2008 in Cincinnati was possibly my favorite...especially our seats and our tailgating spot before the concert.

Re: What was your most favorite Buffett show ever?
The shows from the last few tours have been pretty great but I guess I have to say the Fruitcakes Tour at the Merriweather. I know we were at the Saturday show but I can't find the date. Those were the days when the designated driver was the guy who found the keys in his pocket when it was time to go home. ![asa [smilie=asa.gif]](./images/smilies/asa.gif)

Re: What was your most favorite Buffett show ever?
Wrigley Field show, day one. For a multitude of reasons:
1) I live In Chicago and walked from my house to a Buffett concert
2) Huge Cubs fan and Wrigley Field fan
3) Great seats
4) Great set list
5) Great party
6) Most importantly, history in the making
The day two show sucked compared to the day one show. No comparison. Full of hot, smelly, hungover, angry people from the night before mixed in with a kind of weird crowd of douche bags. The scalpers were pretty much giving tickets away to the second show. I just kept partying right through it though, but the vibe on day two was very different from day one. Plus, you couldn't top "City of New Orleans" performed by Jimmy and Mac with the beginning of that trechorous run of the Glory Days cover. Bleh!!![puker [smilie=puker.gif]](./images/smilies/puker.gif)

That would be the Nissan Concert that was the backdrop for Connie accepting my proposal.
