Help with sick Dad

Post by Vulchor »

Sorry guys, I know this isnt the right area, but I was just hoping to put out the wish.

Im not gonna get all mushy here (or try not to), but my Dad is 57 and he and I have been seeing Buffett once a year for the last 9. My 16yr old sister, with us for the last 4. My dad is recently diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and started chemo----no word on prognosis, but stats are grim. He was in hospital for biopsy when Tix went on sale last month, so I have none. I am just looking for 3 so we can take him. I hope like hell it wont be the last one, but we all really need this. Just looking for lawn, any help is appreciated. feel free to email at knaz911@netzero.net

Sorry, BTW the show Im looking for is April in Tampa

Thanks everybody

Ditto, I"m sure someone would help if we knew what show.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I lost my Dad to the same thing 9 years ago, typical man, he waited too long to do something. Wishes for your Dad to have a good outcome!

Fin power to your dad and to your family.

Keep checking TicketMaster, because sometimes lawn tickets can become available as the date of the show gets closer. Good luck and keep the faith!

So sorry to hear about your dad :( I don't have any Tampa tickets, but wish you well in your search.

Last year I was able to get tickets to a sold out concert a couple of weeks before the concert on TM...so keep checking!

sorry about your dad..BEST WISHES! one of my favorite Buffett stories...I have told a few times on here. My brother was down in Tampa on business..he called me in Georgia and said hey I am down here on business..I have a sweet hotel suite at (The Don?) anyway Buffett is playing here Saturday night..yall should come down...we left and arrived Saturday morning about 2:30am.. got few hours of sleep and around lunch drove down around parking lots to see if we could scalp tix...my wife said let's stop by the ticket office sometimes they release tix late.. we didn't believe so but gave her the money and ..anyway she came back with 4 "late released tix for $68 a piece (they had said possibly obstructed view) but we didn't care..we just wanted in...well the seats ended up being 3rd row on the corner (nothing blocking our view) and it ended up being the side he came in on and just before he went on ...got to talk to him and shake his hand...it was a great show!
"At a moment like this, I can't help but wonder...what would Jimmy Buffett do?"
