SCTV Appearance in 1982

Post by Parrotthed »

In 1982, Jimmy appeared on the SCTV (Second City) comedy show with John Candy in "The Fishin' Musician" segment. They went fishing from a hot air balloon. He also sang "A Slow Boat to China" on the show with about three or four Coral Reefers. Does anybody know which Reefers accompanied him? :-?

Aaw, thanks! We're pretty proud of SCTV, and I had no idea JB had been on it.
Goes to explain those "fishin' musician" remarks at Roger, doesn't it?

Pretty sure the bearded guy sitting next to Jimmy is Josh Leo, but don't be the farm on it.

I think that was Mike Utley sitting next to Jimmy. As for the others, none of them look familiar!
(Well, Utley didn't look familiar either!) :-?

That is Utley playing piano, and Matt Betton on drums, and my guess is Harry Dailey on bass.
