Re: love youtube!
Footage of Van Morrison and Bob Dylan jamming on a hilltop in Athens, Greece back in 1989 that comes from a BBC documentary called Arena: One Irish Rover - Van Morrison in Performances. You can read more about it here.

Great video
Re: love youtube!
Had to look up Mike June and watch more videos. Sure miss the artists I learned about through the Mucky Duck in Houston, like Jess Klein whom Mike June mentions.Tiki Torches wrote:Saw this guy (Mike June) open for Jon Dee Graham at a house concert here in Raleigh a few weeks ago. When he performed this song it definitely turned some heads. If you listen, you'll hear why. It's pretty tricky lyrical territory to navigate in this day and age of political correctness and oversensitivity but Mike June handles it well. Speaking of Jon Dee, he contributes lap steel to this song and also gets a real nice shoutout in the video itself.

While Hot! Hot! Hot! does get the crowd going, I think it would be cool, as a tribute to Ralph, to start some shows with this

I love how Todd deals with the girl talking while he's trying to tell his story..."I told you to wait in the truck..."

Re: love youtube!
I love what the Stones did with "We Had It All", a song that originally appeared on Waylon's Honky Tonk Heroes back in 1973, the only song on that record that Billy Joe Shaver didn't have a hand in writing (it was written by Troy Seals & Donnie Fritts). The Stones' version appears on the deluxe edition of Some Girls that came out last year. The version I posted below is an alternate take and not the one from the Some Girls reissue. If you like the Stones' brand of country honk there's more where this came from on the Some Girls bonus disc.
On the Keith tip (he sings "You Had It All"), here's a nice nod to Gram Parsons from the Return To Sin City tribute to Gram that was filmed in Los Angeles around 2004 or so.

Re: love youtube!
As do I, which is what my response was in regards to. I've also always loved this, the original version of what latter became known as "Honky Tonk Women". This one's from Let It Bleed which came out in '69.DAB wrote:I love the Stones doing this
