So How Bizarre Are Your Co-Workers?

I found posted that a recent survey conducted by CareerBuilder.com found that 39% of those responding thought that their co-workers didn't fit in with their colleagues. When asked to share the most bizarre things they’ve seen their colleagues do, the surveyed workers had some unique stories...such as....
• Co-worker ate the cheese off the pizza box at a company meeting.
• Co-worker talks openly about flatulence.
• Co-worker in the cubicle next to me wears 3-D glasses with the lenses removed.
• Co-worker repeatedly bangs a mallet on the table for no apparent reason.
• Co-worker whistles eight hours a day.
• Co-worker chews tobacco and spits it into empty soda bottles.
• Former boss brought a baby sippy cup to a meeting and started drinking out of it.
• Co-worker cleaned fingernails using a counterpart’s business card.
I thought a BN survey of the most bizarre or annoying behavior you have to deal with from a co-worker would be a humorous thread to run on a Monday morning……So...how bizzare are the people you need to spend your days with?

Um, but why would you want to post such a thing in a public forum, maybe even from your work IP address, when people are getting fired and/or sued for what they post online?

You bring up a valid point...so I'm sure some won't want to share a story and the thread will die off into the sunset.

If you watch The Office, a lot of that stuff is closer to truth than it is to fiction. What workplace doesn't have a party planning committee run by the control freaks?
Weirdos.

There are three of my coworkers who think it's funny to play with an internet Fart machine all damn day.
I'm ready to kill their computers.

We had a guy who used to blow his nose into the sink in the kitchenette. Meaning without tissues, he would just honk it out right into the sink.

I did not see anywhere about co-workers complaining about other co-workers going to have their smoke break and coming back sitting next to you and making the area where you have to work smell like an ash tray!

None of my coworkers smoke. And I quit 11 months ago.

I had a boss walk into my office and beat up my file cabinet. That company filed for bankruptcy years ago and went under.

I work at the Harley shop - 'nuff said....
Some days the customers are more bizarre than the employees and some days vice versa!

A former co-worker occasionally came to work in full Star Trek uniform. And for a while, she had a life-sized cardboard cut-out of a Klingon in her cubicle. It was like 7 feet tall, and stared ominously at me all day long (the cut-out, not the co-worker).
