I took my son last year and was very pleasantly surprised. It was an afternoon show and much better quality than I expected.

What a goofball! By the time you go to the airport, [especially on the return!!], check in, get a shuttle to the hotel, and either pay for a rental or not have wheels...the roadtrip is the way to go!

The "not having tickets to the actual Buffett show" is our own fault. The decision to go to Vegas was a late night, last minute, eyeballing Travelocity and decided to go for it, decision.

But I'm so p*** at my stupid BUSY job, that made me unable to plan the rest of the shenanigans!

THEN to add insult to injury - I was just at Disney World from 9/13 - 9/25. Two days before my trip end, on 9/23 I got a phone call - they did lay offs and *I* was one of them. Asses.

I should have spent less time working, and more time planning my Buffett Vegas Extravaganza!

Two things about Buffett tickets. They are always sold out, and they are always out there...be patient, you'll find one! I scored one two shows in a row by just asking around on the day of the show...

If you go to the box office around noon the day of the show you'll probably get seats. They may not be together. I don't know anyone who has done this and come back empty handed. We even had a couple of BN'ers get front row once.

I have been plenty ticked off politically myself with neither party flying under my radar. Not about to part with my tickets, though. I'll save my political agenda for Monday morning. Like the post said, you've been going to shows since the 70s and just figured out JB is a liberal? What gave it away?

Speaking of tickets, I just made my final follow up call to confirm that my 2 mystery seat tickets that have been in the works for a year are set up and will be waiting for me at the Will Call booth by 5pm Saturday. It's kind of exciting not knowing where the seats will be. I'm hoping to be very happy after I find out!
